Last weekend I was in Atlanta for the A3C Music Festival, and I have to say it was a complete success. I also have to say that I underestimated the art and music scene in A-T-L, and for that… I was wrong. The festival in East Atlanta had an old school hip hop vibe, with live performances at every venue in the area. The people were friendly, the clubs jumping, the girls beautiful, and the streets were usually named some variation of “Peachtree.”

I want to thank everyone that showed love to the Live From New York project; 9th Wonder, J Hatch, Dell Harris, DJ Smiles, and the hundreds of other cool people I met on the street. I talked with people from cities across the country, and they all seemed to show a underlying admiration for classic New York hip hop. The massive amounts of positive feedback and support I received the whole weekend was exciting and humbling at the same time. You all know I’m on that New York isht right now, but I have to conclude this post with a timeless A-T-L joint. Yo momma and yo, cou … sin too.
