Another close cut for Live From New York, but decided to only put one AZ & Nas duet, and “How Ya Livin” felt like the right choice. As members of The Firm, we were lucky enough to have a few records featuring both MCs on that album as well, most notably “Phone Tap.” One thing is for sure, “The Essence” has a special vibe that is unique to the others. Always will be something to ride to.
