By far my favorite track off of Beanie’s album The Truth, and possibly my favorite of his period. The horns turn the song into a motion picture, while Beanie gives a very raw account of life behind bars. I would love to hear a full album of these type of songs from Beans. Lyrically, he’s not one to waste bars, using his words carefully to relay the message of the record, especially in this track. So, what’s your life like?
