So we have officially lost a legendary figure in hip hop history, the man Guru (Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal). After suffering a heart attack on February 28th, I explained what Gang Starr has meant for me musically in the “Royalty” post. All I really want to say is my condolences go out to his family, and that he lives on in what a lot of us do everyday, make hip hop.
